Pro Shop Attendant.
POSITION PROFILE: The Pro Shop Attendant will assist in the operation and work cooperatively with other departments. The position reports to the Operations Manager. This person will promote an exceptional “golf experience,” and provide excellent services and programs to all patrons.
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers/ patrons.
• Train, and supervise assigned staff of approximately seven including assistant and teaching professionals, outside assistants, mechanics, starters and rangers.
• Implement policies and procedures and regular scheduling of staff meetings.
• Assist in the marketing and promotion of new memberships / play.
• Oversee the reservation system, starting, and monitoring of play.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls.
• Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
• Oversee golf-related purchasing and physical inventories.
• Oversee the operations of a well-managed practice facility.
• Oversee the rental and maintenance of golf cars.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Superintendent and other department heads.

• Tournament operations
• Working knowledge of tee time, word processing, database, point of sale and tournament software

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Negotiable depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time
Vacation time for full time employee
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift for full time and 4 – 5 hours for Part time.
Position is a work on location position primarily from 6am to 9pm.
